On January 24, 2017, the Board met in a Study Session to learn more about the Measure G Bond program that is scheduled to be completed over the next ten years that will impact all school sites throughout the district. Yancy Hawkins, Assistant Superintendent, Business and Operations, gave a presentation updating the Board on the Bond Implementation Committee and its process and schedule. Meredith Johnson, Attorney with Dannis Woliver Kelley, gave a presentation regarding legal matters involving general obligation bonds. A third presentation by Greg Isom, Managing Partner of Isom Advisors and District Financial Advisor, gave an updated financing plan with current assessed values and interest rates as well as reviewing the proposed bond issuance timeline.
