Volunteering For NUSD 2017-03-31T12:15:16+00:00

To all of our Volunteers…

Thank You

The community at NUSD is sincerely appreciative of all you do

Volunteering was my way to give back to the classroom which nurtured my daughter every day
Because of the volunteers in my class, I’m able to get so much more done in a day and it really shows in how much the students learn!

Interested in Becoming a Volunteer?
We’re so glad you’re joining our amazing force of parents, family and community members working with students here at NUSD.  The impact of your investment is immeasurable and will have positive effects on students long past their time in the classroom.

Please note, NUSD vigorously screens all volunteers to maintain the safety and well being of all of our students and staff.  Before you may begin volunteering in the classroom, you will need to complete the following steps…

  • Complete the NUSD Volunteer Packet, making sure to include the name of the school you will be volunteering at.
  • Visit the UPS Store or the Marin County Sheriff’s Office to be fingerprinted using LiveScan
(livescan form included in the volunteer packet)
    Fingerprinting FAQ’s
  • Return the Completed Packet to Lillian Rincon at the NUSD District Office along with two forms of identification

-Government issued photo ID (Driver’s License)
    and one of the following
    -Social Security Card
