The Novato Unified School District Board of Trustees announced that Jim Hogeboom has been selected as a finalist for the position of Superintendent for the San Rafael City Schools. It is anticipated that the San Rafael City School Board of Education will ratify Jim’s appointment at their meeting on June 10, 2019.
On April 3, 2018, the NUSD Board of Trustees took proactive action and developed a superintendent succession plan to ensure the continuity of superintendent leadership at NUSD. The NUSD Board of Trustees is now working with Kris Cosca, Deputy Superintendent, to become the next Superintendent beginning July 1, 2019. Should the San Rafael City School Board of Education confirm Jim’s appointment to the position of Superintendent, the Novato Unified School District Board of Trustees will take action at its next regular board meeting on June 18, 2019.
