Measure G Bond Project Update – Yancy Hawkins, Assistant Superintendent, Business & Operations, gave an overview presentation.
On May 2, 2017, the Board approved Phase One Bond projects, including deferred maintenance projects and directed staff to start working on these important facilities projects.
Staff presented a Measure G Bond program update. The staff report included:
- Phase 1 Bond Projects
- Bond Program Phase 1 Income vs. Expenditures
- Potential Projects in Discussion for Inclusion in Phase 1
- Bond Program Phase 1 Cash Flow
- Potential Options to Accommodate Insert Projects in Phase 1
About 15 community members and students commented. Trustees discussed the options and shared their opinions.
Trustees directed staff to continue the projects in schematic review. They also requested information on how the air conditioning projects at Loma Verde, Lynwood, and Olive schools could be funded in Phase 1 as these represent health and safety issues.
In addition, the Trustees requested more information on the short-term maintenance plan for the Novato High grass fields.
