New Student Registration for the 2022-2023 School Year and
Kindergarten/Transitional Kindergarten Information Night
(Novato, CA)… The Novato Unified School District (NUSD) announced that new student registration for the 2022-2023 school year will open on November 1, 2021. NUSD has online registration that can be accessed on the NUSD website at https://nusd.org/enroll/. In addition, Transitional Kindergarten will expand next year by two months to include children who have their fifth birthday in December 2022 or January 2023.
Parents of incoming TK/Kindergartners for the 2022-23 school year are invited to attend an Information Night on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at 6:30 pm. The event will take place in the Board Room at the NUSD District Office, 1015 7th Street, Novato. Space is limited. The Information Night will also be livestreamed on NCTV’s YouTube Channel and will be recorded and posted on the NUSD website.
In addition, bilingual registration support will be available 5:30 – 8:00 pm at the District Office. To help the registration process, please bring the required paperwork.
Jennifer Larson, Assistant Superintendent Education Services, Karen Freemantle, Education Services Coordinator, NUSD Elementary Principal representatives, and NUSD Kindergarten teacher representatives will give a presentation and answer questions. Spanish interpretation will be provided.
In addition, representatives from NUSD’s Dual Immersion Program at Lynwood Elementary School for Transitional Kindergarten through Fifth Grade will be available.
Students enrolling in Kindergarten for the 2022-23 school year are required to have their fifth birthday on or before September 1, 2022. Students enrolling in Transitional Kindergarten for the 2022-23 school year are required to have their fifth birthday between September 2, 2022 and February 1, 2023.
