Dear NUSD Staff and Families,
As we enter the holiday season when many families will be travelling, questions arise on what to do when returning from travel. Marin Public Health provided guidance at a webinar last week for school Public Health Liaisons.
- Whether travelling domestically or internationally, it is recommended that students follow modified quarantine and test on Day 5 after returning from travel.
- Marin Public Health is also encouraging families to test their children at home before returning to school on Sunday and again 5 days after returning from travel or family gatherings.
If you or your children have recently recovered from a documented COVID-19 infection within the past 90 days, you do NOT need to test 3-5 days after travel.
- People can continue to test positive after diagnosis and not be infectious to others. You also do not need to self-quarantine after travel.
- However, if you develop COVID-19 symptoms after travel, isolate and consult with a healthcare provider for testing recommendations.

- COVID Clinic, Every Day 7 am – 7 pm, 922 Machin Avenue. Walkups are welcome. Online registration encouraged prior to arrival.
