We hope you are all excited for the State Championship Football Game at San Marin High School Saturday night, December 11 at 6:00 pm. Here are some helpful tips to help everyone enjoy the game.

  1. Getting to the Game

Please give yourself lots of time to get to the game, park and get in. The crowds are expected to be larger than normal, so that means more traffic, less available parking and long lines. Please avoid the area if you don’t plan to come to the game, as you may get stuck in some of the traffic flow before and after the game.

  1. Game Tickets

You must have a pre-purchased ticket through the GoFan website at gofan.co to enter the game. All tickets were pre-sold, so there will not be any on site ticket sales. Anyone without a ticket will be turned away. You can watch the game online at NFHS Network. Please go to MustangsLive at https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/schools/san-marin-high-school-novato-ca to view the game. You will need a subscription to watch the game so please get your subscription prior to the game.

  1. Banned Items

There are no large bags, backpacks, sporting equipment such as skateboards, footballs, basketballs, or other athletic equipment, or outside food or drink allowed inside the venue. A snack bar will be available inside the game.

  1. No Smoking or Alcohol

Smoking is not allowed on the San Marin High Campus. No alcohol will be permitted inside of the game or on the campus.

  1. Parking

Consider carpooling with friends, using a rideshare service, walking or riding your bike to help reduce the number of cars in the area. There are numerous off-site parking locations that may be used as an alternative. Handicapped parking will be located in the front parking lot area of the school, near the ticket gate. Please drive slowly as it will be dark and there will be pedestrians in the area of the school all evening.

  1. Shuttle Bus Service

NUSD is providing shuttle bus service from Fireman’s Fund to San Marin HS. Shuttle pick up at Fireman’s Fund will be on West Campus Drive. The busses seat 50 adult passengers. Masks are required while riding the bus. The shuttle busses will run from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm to transport to the game and busses run from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm after the game. You are encouraged to use this free service.

  1. Game Time

The stadium gates open at 4:30 PM. Seating is first come, first served. Once all seats are filled, it will be standing room only. The game starts at 6:00 PM.

  1. Fan Behavior

Please be respectful of other spectators, sports officials, school staff and athletes. Profanity directed at athletes, officials, school staff, or other patrons may result in ejection from the game. Please comply with all requests from staff working the game.

We look forward to seeing you at the game!
