Dear NUSD Community,
Marin Public Health updated the Isolation and Quarantine Guidance yesterday and it now contains this notice:
COVID-19 community transmission is high (case rate > 200/100,000); Marin County Public Health recommends wearing a mask at schools indoors. Wear the most protective mask that fits well and will be worn consistently. Properly fitted respirators (e.g., KN95 or N95) provide the highest level of protection. Face masks are not required outdoors as the risk of transmission is low in most outdoor settings.
NUSD recommends following Marin County Public Health’s recommendation on wearing a mask indoors at schools.
