Angela Williams

Director of the Special Education Department

Responsible for oversight of the Special Education Department and Special Education Committee, maintains local, state, and federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) compliance and accountability, development, implementation, and management of all special education services and programs.

Leslie Zamarripa

Administrative Assistant

Responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of Special Education, manages Special Education Information System (SEIS), CALPADS reporting and certification, maintaining student files and records management.

Helen Hughes-Tome

Administrative Assistant

Responsible for providing administrative support to the Special Education department, processes timesheets, professional expert agreements, personnel action forms, expense claims, purchase orders, invoices, and applications to attend related to special education, maintaining financial records for all Independent Service Agreements (ISAs), Master Contracts, and Independent Education Evaluations (IEEs).

Chris Martinez

Special Education Coordinator, TK-5th Grade

Liaison to the following programs and sites, including but not limited to: NUSD, Marin County of Office of Education (MCOE), Private Schools, Non-Public Schools (NPS), and Non-Public Agencies (NPA), ensures compliance with local, state, and federal mandates, serves as IEP administrator when regional or out of district placements are considered.

Kevin Goyer

Special Education Coordinator, 6th-Post Secondary 

Liaison to the following programs and sites, including but not limited to: NUSD, Marin County of Office of Education (MCOE), Private Schools, Non-Public Schools (NPS), and Non-Public Agencies (NPA), ensures compliance with local, state, and federal mandates, serves as IEP administrator when regional or out of district placements are considered.

Andrew Weiher

Behavioral Health Specialist

Responsible for supporting the development and implementation of positive social and emotional environments conducive to teaching and learning, completes behavior functional assessments, supports team development of positive behavior intervention plans.
