On Tuesday, February 27, 2018, the NUSD Board of Trustees will hold a Special Board meeting to consider and approve the recommended budget solutions from the Budget Advisory Committee.
The Board will consider the recommendations at a Special Board meeting on February 27 at 6 pm in the Board Room at the District Office, 1015 Seventh Street, Novato. The agenda for the February 27 Special Board Meeting will not be available until the afternoon of Friday, February 23. However, the list of recommendations was presented to the Board by Superintendent Jim Hogeboom at the Board’s Regular Meeting on February 13. The public is welcome to attend and provide comments at the February 27 Board meeting. Comments can also be submitted to [email protected].
The Budget Advisory Committee was formed to support the Superintendent and the District in determining recommendations for budget solutions to bring the District budget into alignment. The Committee met over five months beginning in October 2017. The Committee is comprised of parents, students, teachers, and administrators.
