AIM High Summer Program

We are thrilled to bring Aim High to Novato again this summer, and we want to be sure your current 5th-grade families know about this incredible opportunity. At Aim High, we see our students’ incredible potential. Please invite your students to spend their middle school summers exploring fun new ways to learn and building the confidence to succeed in high school and beyond.

The summer of 2019 was our inaugural year, and it was a tremendous success for 100 Novato middle school students. In 2020, due to the pandemic, Aim High pivoted to a virtual program, and together with our San Rafael campus, we served 110 students.

OUR 2021 PROGRAM:

Aim High is a five-week-long, no-cost summer learning program. The Aim High program will be June 28 – July 30. Aim High is committed to providing a high-quality virtual learning program this summer, as well, we are exploring the possibility of hosting in-person activities in accordance with health and safety guidelines. If determined possible, families and partners will be notified of those opportunities directly and on our website.

Our virtual program, Aim High at Home, will build community and connection even while physically apart. Just as we have for the last 36 years, Aim High at Home makes virtual learning fun and creates a safe space for students to make new friends and try new things.

All students will:

  • Participate in live, virtual classes: STEAM, Book Club, and our signature class Issues & Choices, which explores important middle school issues and high school readiness.

  • Be in small group learning environments supported by a two-person team teaching model providing students with the attention they need to feel seen and heard.

  • Get active, use wellness tools, learn in non-academic settings and participate in activities (video and live) such as dance, sports, art, crafting, coding, and much more.

FOR STUDENTS NEW TO AIM HIGH:

Our new student application is now open! Help us spread the word about Aim High and encourage your families to apply by April 9th. (Open to students currently in 5th-8th grade) APPLY TODAY!
