With award-winning schools and rigorous, innovative programs, Novato Unified School District (NUSD) strives to provide an education that meets individual student needs in an innovative and effective academic environment. Our is to equip each student with the 21st Century skills needed to succeed in college and today’s workforce, focusing on collaboration, communication, and critical thinking.
As a community, we are working together to create Great Schools For a Greater Novato! Measure G, a $222 million school bond generously approved by Novato voters in November 2016 will help move us toward that goal. The bond targets the upgrade of aging classrooms and facilities to meet current academic and safety standards provides dedicated space for science, technology, engineering, math, and art instruction; and improves student access to modern instructional technology. These improvements accommodate modern teaching and will help prepare our students to compete in the 21st Century global economy. Repairs and improvements necessary to protect student safety and to save money by increasing energy efficiency are also a part of Measure G.
