To ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff, NUSD thoroughly screens every volunteer prior to placement. Please complete the steps below to get started:

Step 1: Obtain the Volunteer Packet

Pick up a copy at your school site, or download and print the Volunteer Application.

Step 2: Submit Your Required Documentation

Turn in your completed application along with the following items directly to the school's Office Manager:

• Photo ID: Government-issued ID (e.g., Driver’s License or Passport)

• TB Clearance: Cleared TB test or completed TB Risk Assessment Questionnaire

• Training: Complete the Mandated Reporter Training for Volunteers and verify with electronic signature
