Career and Technical Education (CTE):

• integrates academic, technical, and occupational knowledge to provide students with pathways to high-demand, livable-wage careers.
• prepares learners for the world of work by introducing them to workplace competencies and makes academic content accessible to students by providing it in a hands-on context, a key element to learners finding and preparing for a career they are passionate about.

In accordance with California Education Code § 48980.5, Novato Unified School District provides information to students in grades 11 and 12 about local apprenticeship and preapprenticeship opportunities.
