Parent Volunteer Information
Welcome to the NUSD Volunteer Team! We are thrilled to welcome parents, family, and community members to our schools! Your time and support make a lasting impact on our students.
To ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff, NUSD thoroughly screens every volunteer prior to placement. Please complete the steps below to get started:
Step 1: Obtain the Volunteer Packet
Pick up a copy at your school site, or download and print the Volunteer Application.
Step 2: Submit Your Required Documentation
Turn in your completed application along with the following items directly to the school's Office Manager:

Photo ID: Government-issued ID (e.g., Driver’s License or Passport)

TB Clearance: Cleared TB test or completed TB Risk Assessment Questionnaire

Training: Complete the Mandated Reporter Training for Volunteers and verify with electronic signature

Required Mandated Reporter Training for Voluneteers
Prospective volunteers are requested to present their certificate of completion to the school's office manager prior to beginning any volunteer activities
