Parent Volunteer Information

We’re so glad you’re joining our amazing force of parents, family and community members working with students here at NUSD. The impact of your investment is immeasurable and will have positive effects on students long past their time in the classroom.

Please note, NUSD vigorously screens all volunteers to maintain the safety and well being of all of our students and staff. Before you may begin volunteering in the classroom, you will need to complete the following steps

• Visit the school site you would like to volunteer at and obtain the NUSD Volunteer Packet. Or print it off here: Volunteer Application

• Return the completed Volunteer Application and the following to the office manager of the school you wish to volunteer.

  • Government issued photo ID (Driver’s License or Passport, etc.)

  • Cleared TB test or assessment.

  • Please contact the Office Manager at the school which you will be volunteering
