INTRADISTRICT TRANSFER (from a school of residence to the requested school)
Online General Intradistrict Applications for the 2024-25 school year will be available starting December 1, 2023.
If your student is new to NUSD, please enroll in your neighborhood school before completing the Intradistrict Transfer Application using Aeries Online Registration.
- To request a transfer, complete the Intradistrict Transfer Application. (for Spanish click here)
- Intradistrict transfer applications must be received by March 4, 2024, to be included in the Lottery that establishes the priority waitlist. Intradistrict transfer applications received after March 5, 2024, will be placed at the bottom of the priority waitlist in the order received.
- The lottery will take place before March 31, 2024, and notification of application status (approval, denial or lottery/wait-list) will be emailed after April 1, 2024.
- If an offer is received and accepted, the applicant remains a student at the school of residence until the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year.
- Applicants who receive approval must confirm their enrollment by returning the Intradistrict Transfer Notification form by the deadline requested, or the transfer to the desired school will be forfeited.
Transfers will be made based on available space at the requested school
