Our mission in NUSD is to, “Engage, inspire and empower all students, in a rapidly changing world, to realize their life goals”. The vision of our English Learner program is to provide instruction rich with best-practices strategies for academic and linguistic competence. We seek to leverage the cultural and linguistic resources of our multilingual student body to enable students learning English to achieve on the same basis as native speakers of English.
