A white web address bar with a padlock icon, the text 'https://www.', and a white cursor hovering over it, set against a blue-to-yellow gradient background. The Novato Unified School District provides school counseling and wellness services to support the social-emotional well-being of all students based on a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) model. School counseling services may include classroom guidance or presentations, small group, and individual support. Services are short-term, solution-based, and may include support for families to seek referrals in our community should the need arise. Please contact your school’s counselor, administrator, or classroom teacher directly for more information.

Bay Area Community Resources and North Marin Community Services provide additional counseling services at the middle and high school levels. Clinicians are trainees in local graduate programs, graduates earning their hours toward clinical licensure, or licensed clinicians.  Services are brief and short-term. Please reach out to your school directly for additional information.

Middle and high school campuses have wellness hubs and spaces that allow students to engage in healthy coping strategies, seek help/support or resources for themselves or friends, grab a hygiene product, or take a structured break. The wellness hubs also host club meetings, educational events, and therapy dog visits!  The high school wellness hubs are staffed by mental health clinicians and certified wellness coaches. Middle school wellness hubs are supported by the school counseling staff. See below for contact information
